HISTORY & EVOLUTION
The origin of the Chinese language is one of the most fascinating due to its antiquity and continuity, dating back more than 3,000 years. Unlike other languages, Chinese arose from a spiritual rather than a commercial need, evolving from mystical inscriptions to the complex system we know today.

MANDARIN
Ancient Chinese: It was a language with sounds very different from the current one, used in classical texts such as those of Confucius.
"Mandarin": The term comes from the officials (mandarins) of the Ming and Qing dynasties, who spoke a northern variety based on the Beijing dialect to be understood throughout the empire.
